25. IT-Meeting of the MPS in Göttingen - "Diversität der Ideen 2.0" -

This is 25th Aniversary of this MPS-Event (in german: DV-Treffen der MPG). Therefore it is expected to be a "Don't dare miss it!!". MPDL Development team will give an eSciDoc Hands-On workshop, see workshop details
MPDL input[edit]
The MPDL will hold a workshop to give participants an overview of the eSciDoc system architecture and with some small examples the ingestions and retrieval of eScidoc items, the infrastructure is demonstrated.

Agenda of the workshop (german)[edit]
Achtung: Teilnehmer, die aktiv mitarbeiten wollen, sollten folgende Software auf ihren Rechner installiert haben:
- Java JDK 1.5 oder höher
- Apache Tomcat oder JBoss Application Server oder eine andere Java-basierte Servlet Engine/Application Server
- Die Workshop-Anwendungen (hier downloaden)
- optional (zum Bearbeiten) Eclipse IDE oder Apache Ant + Editor
14:00 - 15:30 System Architeture eSciDoc 1. Generelle Einleitung in die eSciDoc Systemarchitektur ( Design, Überblick ) 2. Vorstellung der Entwicklungsumgebung 15:30 - 17:00 Workshop 3. Workshop Entwicklung einer eSciDoc Anwendung 3.1 Vorstellung der Beispielanwendung( Bilderbrowser und Importapplikation ) 3.1 Stufenweises Retrieval der Beispieldaten auf den Rechnern der Teilnehmer mithilfe des Bilderbrowsers
