DC term: license document[edit]
I was only able to find license as DCMI term, see http://dublincore.org/documents/dcmi-terms/#terms-license--Inga 18:23, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
- Ha, proved me wrong. There is a LicenseDocument as well, see http://dublincore.org/documents/dcmi-terms/#classes-LicenseDocument - but this is a class. Never got the concept of a DCMI class though --Inga 18:29, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
DC term: date copyrighted[edit]
Do we exactly know what "date copyrighted" mean, i.e. which event is associated with this date. I found somewhere following definition: "Date of a statement of copyright". Is this similar to an "Einräumung eines Verwertungsrechts" which is implicitly done when attaching a license? Do we need to generate this automatically when license is selected? --Inga 18:47, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
expiration of embargo[edit]
I noticed that no auto-release is planned. But do you consider an auto-submit of item versions, e.g. a routine which detects that the embargo date has expired, changes the component visibility and submits the new item version? --Inga 19:10, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
UC_PM_CR_01 Provide Rights[edit]
- this field is optional and has usual date format (YYYY-MM-DD -> but it's possible for the user just to state a year)
- before the item is submitted/released a information message shows up: "You are going to submit/release an item with rights information. Please be aware that you checked these information!"
- these information message shows up only if the user provides rights information for the submitted item and its component(s)
- the item is submitted/released
- the use case ends successfully
- Note: the last two actions are not really belonging to this flow of event. You may consider to change UC PM SM 03 submit item instead. In addition UC_PM_QA_08_release_item specifies that the system releases the item. Thus, there is no user to whom a warning could be displayed to --Inga 19:03, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
