Trip Report: 8th IGeLU Conference. Berlin 8th-10th September 2013
The 8th annual meeting of the "International Group of Ex Libris users" (IGeLU) took place in Berlin, Germany from 8th to 10th September 2013. The meeting has been attended by User:Inga Inga and Mary-Ann from the MPDL as well as by Regina Bost from the GWDG.
Summary: This year's conference schedule was dominated by presentations on a broad range of issues related to discovery services using Primo. In addition, Ex Libris continued to promote Alma - their solution for unified resource management. This was flanked by various user reports from early Alma adopters. Ex Libris announced the start of an Alma Early Adopter Programme for Germany. The UB Mannheim was mentioned as the first member of the early adopters group, the kickoff will be hold in October 2013.
