First draft of the LTA migration manual: Wege ins Archiv: Ein Leitfaden für die Informationsübernahme in das digitale Langzeitarchiv, version 1 (Entwurf zur öffentlichen Kommentierung), herausgegeben von der nestor-Arbeitsgruppe "Standards für Metadaten, Transfer von Objekten in digitale Langzeitarchive und Objektzugriff" can be found here.
The following structure of the manual has been presented:
- Objects: Tobias Steinke, Deutsche Nationalbibliothek
- Processes: Dr. Christian Keitel, Landesarchiv Baden-Würtemberg
- Management: Tobias Beinert, BSB; Jens Ludwig, SUB Göttingen
The main idea of the manual is drifting from the formal and technical (like OAIS) to the human intuitive understandable definitions (emphasizing the institutional aspects).

Noteworthily:
- Concept of the
significant metadata(wesentliche Eigentshaften) to be identified on the very earlier stage metadata analyze and to be stored unchanged for next migrations (or very thoroughly and unambiguously migrated) in the Object metadata.

The most discussed issue, there are many objections and suggestions regarding the chapter structure and content. Discussed questions:
