A small glossary for the used terms can be found under Miscellaneous.
NOTE: Please enter all comments concerning the use cases here on the discussion page.

UC_VR_ED_01 Edit pagination[edit]

  • Wird es nicht moeglich sein, einfach mal einen einzelnen Label einzutragen? --Inga 16:17, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
In dem Fall nicht, aber guter Punkt. --Kristina 11:17, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
  • Is "numeration" used for the same concept than "pagination" or is there any difference? --Inga 16:19, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
  • Re-phrasing proposal for step 3:
"The user selects a page where he wants to start a physical numeration, (optionally) a page where he wants to end the numeration and either "arabische Zahlen" or "römische Zahlen" as type of the physical numeration. If no end page has been provided, the physical numeration should be applied till the end of the volume or monograph."
-> dann wuerde die Alternative zu Step 3 gehören (mit "unnumeriert") und Step 4 würde nur noch heissen "The user enters the starting number for the numeration." --Inga 16:39, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
  • Have you considered to explicitly specify the input validation, i.e. if the provided starting page is a number (see UC_PM_SM_12_file_upload, step 1.4 as example) --Inga 16:44, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
I dont get the point here. --Kristina 11:40, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
  • Step 5 statest "This includes, that older definitions of the numeration will be overwritten." but I would assume that the existing pagination is not overwritten until the the change is confirmed by the user. Therefore, you may want to move the information further down --Inga 16:48, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
  • Are you really expecting the user to execute two steps (trigger save + confirmation)? In this case, the system would be required to do something in between, e.g. it stores the new version of the toc (and overwrites the old values) and displays a confirmation request. --Inga 16:51, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
I am not sure, I just wanted to make sure that the user dos not release anything by mistake. --Kristina 11:40, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
  • The constraint "Only the latest version of the volume's or monograph's pagination is editable." implies that the "pagination" is an independent object. I would assume that the pagination is part of the toc --Inga 16:54, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

UC_VR_ED_04 Create structural element[edit]

  • The readability of this spec would by improved if UC_VR_EC_07 would be listed before this one. What happend to *_02 and *_03? Maybe the place could be filled with *_07? --Inga 17:02, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
Good idea. But do you think I should renumber all use cases (02/03 are not used any more)? --Kristina 11:43, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

UC_VR_ED_05 Edit structural element[edit]

UC_VR_ED_06 Delete structural element[edit]

UC_VR_ED_07 Edit structural content[edit]

  • What is the difference between edit and modify? --Inga 17:06, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
  • I don't think that edit can be directly triggered from "UC_VR_BD_08 View editors workspace" if "UC_VR_ED_09 Modify structural content" exists --Inga 17:10, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

UC_VR_ED_08 Release structural content[edit]

UC_VR_ED_09 Modify structural content[edit]

  • Wow! What is a working copy? A new (pending or submitted, but not released) version of the toc? --Inga 17:05, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
Yes. --Kristina 11:43, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
