eSciDoc GUI Style Guide[edit]

For all forthcoming releases a style guide is available for interface development. It defines visual appearance of eSciDoc interface components. New functional prototypes, and interface components make use of the style guide.

The style guide is a working draft and contains all main elements used mostly in PubMan. After R4 is released this guide will be extended towards more solutions and released.

Naming convention for Icons:

  • solution (All, PubMan, ViRR, FACES)
  • Pattern Name (if not: nopattern)
  • Icon Name (Plus, Next, ...)
  • Resolution (...)
  • Status (Active, Hover, Deactivated)

Example: All_Paginator_ArrowNext_15_Active.gif
