==Field "note"==
According to the escidoc to bibtex mapping, source creator is mapped to the field "note". The following behaviour has been noticed though: if an item doesn't have a source at all, then the field is not exported. If an item has a source and a source author/editor, then the field is exported and contains a value. But it the item has a source and no information to its creator, then an empty "note" field is exported (note = "",). Is this behaviour correct?--[[User:Despoina|despoina]] 07:42, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

Mapping non-standard entries[edit]

According to the mapping of common non-standard entries:

  • 'affiliation' to 'Creator.Organisation': This should be discussed.
  • 'date' to 'published in print': Which one to prefer? 'date' or 'year' and 'month'

Mapping ISSN[edit]

ISSN should be mapped to Identifier.ID only if genre = "journal". If not it needs to be mapped to source.identifier.ID (if source.genre = journal) --Inga 15:24, 15 May 2008 (CEST)

Genre of source[edit]

Some further logic can be applied for source.genre, e.g. if "publication.gerne = bookitem" than "source.genre = book" or if "publication.gerne = journal article" than "source.genre = journal"
