This document defines simple vocabularies for use with the various properties in the eSciDoc Application Profile.
ReviewMethod Encoding Scheme[edit]
Value String | Label | Definition |
---|---|---|
internal | Internal | The review process included only persons from the same institution as the creator or non-experts. |
peer | Peer | The work was peer-reviewed by others who are experts in the same field as addressed by the work. |
no-review | No Review | The work was not subject to any review process. |
Degree Encoding Scheme[edit]

master | Master | The item is a document that presents the author's research and findings and is submitted in support of candidature for a master degree. |
diploma | Diploma | The item is a document that presents the author's research and findings and is submitted in support of candidature for a diploma. |
magister | Magister | The item is a document that presents the author's research and findings and is submitted in support of candidature for a magister degree. |
staatsexamen | Staatsexamen | The item is a document that presents the author's research and findings and is submitted in support of candidature for a "Staatsexamen". |
phd | PhD | The item is a document that presents the author's research and findings and is submitted in support of candidature for a PhD degree. |
habilitation | Habilitation | The item is a document that presents the author's research and findings and is submitted in support of candidature for a habilitation. |
