Topics[edit]

Release V1.2[edit]

  • status

Outcome[edit]

  • will be ready today hopefully, no blockers
  • new roles shall be sent by MPDL and will be included in the bug-fix or patch release
  • needed Info about whether migration from 1.1 series includes OAI-DC datastream transformation with new XSLs from content model
  • Proposal: new feature of the Admin Tool (re-OAI-PMH button :)
    • add-on: maybe for all items/containers of a selected content-model
  • Large XML item representations (hang-out when retrieved from Postgres)
    • MPDL to send test data to FIZ
    • consider tests to store them as Blobs instead of text data
    • 1.2 privileges can be granted to users which grantor has no privilege to see and for roles which grantor has no privilege to see
      • MPDL eSciDoc Admin workaround: roles which users can see are restricted for each user-policy, works fine - at least prevents from wrong user-input via the provided user interface
      • shall be rethought, either with separate policy or with newly supported resolvable attributes of the grant-object
    • filters: check possibilities of right-truncation vs. exact matching against filter criteria with the CQL interface

info: modification of escidocadmin roles in 1.2 (MPDL instance)[edit]
