eSciDoc Workshop FIZ - MPDL

This is an all-team meeting to discuss issues for the 3rd project phase.

Besides taking time to discuss current issues this event should get together all involved persons from FIZ, MPDL and SMC to discuss about focus, directions and views on the project.

• Export/Import possibilities for Organizational Units, Contexts, Users (or migration from one FW release to another without data removal)
• Read only elements in the XML (specification, handling, status, timeline for services)
• Relations and possibility to add descriptive metadata (depending on relation type, minimum requirement: description, creator, date of creation)

    • Michael Hoppe of FIZ and Johannes Müller of SMC will evaluate the current workflow implementation of the framework and then decide whether a re-use for PubMan is technically feasable.
