Use Case for PMC mapping[edit]
What is the use case for loading content from PMC? Please note that only a subset of the PMC content is really "open access", see http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/about/openftlist.html --Inga 18:37, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
Identifiers[edit]
DOIs are rarely used for identifying journals and ISSNs are never used for identifying articles. Do you have an example which deploys these elements? --Inga 18:37, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
In addition, I would not suggest to map all additional identifier-types to "other" - because these non-specific values are not helpful. You might consider to add "pmid" and "pmc" as additional identifier types to the eSciDoc AP --Inga 19:13, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

Subtitles for journals[edit]
We should check some examples of the "journal-subtitle" and the "trans-subtitle" elements. If the subtitle is not an alternative, but rather an extension to the journal title, we should consider merging it into "Publication.Source.Title" resp. Series-title[edit]

- I would vote for not mapping it. Rike and I have checked the examples and we couldn't find the series title in the ZDB ;-). So maybe then we also don't need them :p. --Nicole 12:37, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
