I completed my B.A. at University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil (2008) and my M.A. at Tohoku University, Japan (2015). I am currently a PhD candidate at Tohoku University. I work on cross-linguistic research and linguistic typology. I am studying the syntactic function and paradigmatic structure of person markers in the worldʼs languages. I have also interest in the relationship between linguistic typology and second language acquisition.
