Other work examines the effects of pain on motivation and decision-making. Her recent animal work examines the role of neuroimmune priming in mediating the adverse effects of social stress in a model of multiple sclerosis. Dr. Meagher is a Fellow of the American Psychological Society and of the American Psychological Association in Divisions 6 (Behavioral Neuroscience) and 12 (Clinical Psychology) and the recipient of several university awards for research and service.
