Goobi is an workflow management tool developed by the Göttinger Digitalisierungszentrum (GDZ) to support the digitization and indexing of all kind of works. Goobi bases on a METS profile and supports splitting up the digitization effort into manageable tasks, e.g.
- preparation
- digitizing
- quality assurance
- image improvement
- metadata lookup
- creating metadata and structural maps (= collaborative web based editor for descriptive and structural metadata)
- indexing
