The system provides different display types which can be applied to list of items or a single item.

For all display types is valid: if an element is empty, it should not be displayed.

In all display types a COinS has to be provided (see link to md page) for each item.

In addition to the item data, a display type can include the text fragments from the search result.

Following display types are supported:

Short display[edit]

Short display consists of following metadata elements and properties:

Publication.Title[edit]

Publication.Creator, the number might be limited according to the GUI-design[edit]

  • Publication.Creator Person  Publication.Creator Person FamilyName, Publication.Creator Person GivenName
  • Publication.Creator Organization  Publication.Creator Organization.Name

Publication.Date, Only one date value is displayed[edit]

If more than one <date> is available, the display of the dates follows the priority:

  • Publication.Date.DateType = published in print
  • Publication.Date.DateType = published online
  • Publication.Date.DateType = accepted
  • Publication.Date.DateType = submitted
  • Publication.Date.DateType = modified
  • Publication.Date.DateType = created

Publication.Genre[edit]

Number of the Files if greater than zero[edit]

Full display[edit]

Full display consists of all item data which can be limited according to the GUI-design and up to two text fragments per file with 10 words before and after the highlighted hit.
