This document defines vocabularies for use with the various properties in the eSciDoc Application Profile.

ReviewMethod Encoding Scheme[edit]

This vocabulary applies to the element "reviewmethod".


Value String Label Definition
internal Internal The review process included only persons from the same institution as the creator or non-experts.
peer Peer The work was peer-reviewed by others who are experts in the same field as addressed by the work.
no-review No Review The work was not subject to any review process.


Degree Encoding Scheme[edit]

This vocabulary applies to the element "degree".


Value String Label Definition
master Master The item is a document that presents the author's research and findings and is submitted in support of candidature for a master degree.
diploma Diploma The item is a document that presents the author's research and findings and is submitted in support of candidature for a diploma.
magister Magister The item is a document that presents the author's research and findings and is submitted in support of candidature for a magister degree.
staatsexamen Staatsexamen The item is a document that presents the author's research and findings and is submitted in support of candidature for a "Staatsexamen".
phd PhD The item is a document that presents the author's research and findings and is submitted in support of candidature for a PhD degree.
habilitation Habilitation The item is a document that presents the author's research and findings and is submitted in support of candidature for a habilitation.
