This project serves to develop an integrated service to support digitization endeavors, including both technical and non-technical components: Besides providing documented expertise and guidelines to properly prepare, plan and manage digitization activities, the current eSciDoc solution ViRR (Virtueller Raum Reichsrecht) is extended for editing, publishing, disseminating and enriching multiple digitized material (text and image-oriented resources). The solution will be build as a set of services, integrated in the eSciDoc eResearch infrastructure, to be re-used for related scenarios in the future.
