Summary: The Elektronische Zeitschriftenbibliothek (Electronic Journals Library, EZB) is a service to facilitate the use of scholarly journals in the Internet. The project is developed and maintained by the library of the University Regensburg (UB Regensburg), but the service is delivered as a cooperative effort of nearly 600 libraries.
The EZB team at the UB Regensburg organizes a user meeting once a year, bringing together representatives from the participating libraries and library consortias. The event is used to present the current status, to introduce new activities planned for the future and to provide the participating libraries with the opportunity to place and discuss new requirements. The "open forum" in the afternoon is used for user presentations which are not necessarily related to the EZB.

Begrüßung[edit]
Begrüssung durch Frau Dr. Eveline Hutzer und dem Direktor der Universitätsbibliothek Dr. Rafael Ball. Sie eröffneten das Anwendertreffen mit einer Programmübersicht und der Ankündigung einer Überraschung für die EZB-Community, die im Laufe des Tages vorgestellt wird.
TOP 1: Stand der Entwicklung[edit]
In der EZB sind 64.000 neue Titel aufgenommen worden. Im Vergleich zum Vorjahr waren es 57.000 neue Titelaufnahmen. Darüber hinaus wurde 65.000 Agregatorentitel hinzugefügt. Momentan nutzen 585 Bibliotheken (Vorjahr 564) die EZB. Die Titelnutzung beträgt 17,7 Millionen Abfragen (Vorjahr 17,3 Millionen). Die Nutzung des Linkingdienste liegt bei 5,3 Millionen.
