eSciDoc is a cooperation project between Max-Planck Gesellschaft (MPG) and Fachinformationszentrums Karlsruhe (FIZ Karlsruhe).
In addition to own resources of the project partners, eSciDoc is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF)from 2004-2009.
The aim of the project is the development of an re-usable infrastructure and disciplin-specific solutions to support scientific communication and publication in research organzations.
Long-term and open access to research results and research materials (publications and primary data) will be provided as well as support for innovative forms and methods of scientific and interdisciplinary cooperations.
The pages on CoLab provide insight in ongoing work and first deliverables and are the main platform for exchange with interested partners, pilots and projects.
