Pre-Condition
- One collection is selected where the user is the owner
- The collection is either in the state private or released
Description
- Before (batch) editing is possible, the pictures have to be selected in some way.
- It is only possible to select pictures for the batch editing that are within the same collection.
- The selection can include a filter functionality based on the already available metadata values
- technical metadata values: creation timestamp, device, resolution
- descriptive metadata value that have already been assigned to some pictures within the collection, e.g. via UC_FAC_ME_01 Scan filename
- A list of all (filtered) pictures within the collection is displayed. The user should have the option to choose between different display types:
- thumbnails of all pictures
- only the names of all pictures (list)
- thumbnails and names of all pictures
- The user selects one or several pictures (this could be up to one thousand)
- The system displays an information message which says how many pictures are currently selected.

- One or several pictures are selected via UC_FAC_ME_02 Select pictures for editing
Description
- The system displays an information message which says how many pictures are currently selected.
- The whole metadata profile for the collection is displayed.
- The users can define one or more metadata values for all the selected pictures.
- When only one pictures is selected, already available will be displayed as pre-filled in.
- When the selected pictures have one or more metadata values in common, this value(s) will be displayed as pre-filled in.
- After saving, the system displays a confirmation message.
- When one picture already had a metadata value in one of the chosen fields this value will automatically be overwritten by the new value.
